WildPlay Adventurers is a weekly nature playgroup for children aged 1-5, and their caregiver. Together, we explore, play and connect outdoors. This is an active and immersive playgroup experience for children - but also for adults! It is an all-in experience! Expect to get wet and probably a bit muddy while you have fun with your little one in our beautiful creek and local nature spots. Children are supported to take appropriate risks, follow curiosity and build confidence through real experiences in nature, with caregivers actively participating beside them - and they love it when we join in.
Families bushwalk, explore creeks, create, climb, play and discover alongside one another in beautiful natural spaces across the Gold Coast hinterland. We share with you the most favourite spaces we played at with our own children when they were little (and some new ones!).
Our program is intentionally offered as a regular weekly experience rather than a casual drop-in activity. Consistent participation allows children and families to gradually develop confidence outdoors, build relationships, deepen their connection with place and become more comfortable with adventurous nature play over time. Each gathering is guided by experienced nature mentors and grounded in forest school, playwork and nature connection principles.
PROGRAM DETAILS
- Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays 9:30 – 11:30
- $25/week for one child and one adult,
- $10/week for each extra child over the age of 1
- $10/week for each extra adult attending.
- Full term commitment
- For families with children aged 12 months or older (siblings under 1 year attend free)
- Mobile nature playgroup held in Guanaba and other areas within the northern Gold Coast Hinterland
A fully outdoor drop-off program for children 18m - 5 yrs, where children spend unhurried days immersed in nature through play, creativity, risky play, storytelling, relationships and connection with the rhythms of the seasons.
Every Friday in the school holidays, children aged 5 - 12 can adventure at our day camp. Children explore rainforest, creeks and bushland through bushcraft, adventure play, campfire cooking and creativity.
