Weekly Wild Nature Adventures
Adventure Club is a weekly full-day nature immersion program where children explore, discover, create, climb, build friendships and experience real adventure together in the rainforests and creeks of Guanaba. Children spend their days bushwalking, exploring waterways, building cubbies, learning practical skills, solving problems, creating games and discovering what they are capable of through shared outdoor experiences in nature.
Adventure Club offers children the freedom to move, explore, imagine, connect and grow through meaningful adventures in wild natural environments - building confidence, capability and lifelong memories along the way.
Adventure Builds Confidence
Adventure Club supports children to develop confidence, resilience, social awareness, emotional regulation and independence through movement, challenge, creativity and connection with the natural world. As children become more capable in outdoor environments, they also develop confidence in themselves, their relationships and their ability to navigate challenges.
Building Skills
Children spend their full day immersed in rainforest and bushland environments, developing confidence, practical skills and strong friendships through shared adventure experiences. Alongside bush adventures and nature exploration, children also engage in nature connection practices including sit spots, nature journalling, bushcraft, handcrafts and creative outdoor play.
Supporting Different Learning Pathways
Our approach is guided by trauma-informed practice, therapeutic nature connection and creative arts approaches. Adventure Club is a wonderful option for families seeking meaningful social connection, outdoor learning and adventurous mixed-age experiences for their children.
Skilled, Supportive Outdoor Practice
Adventure Club has received awards from Outdoors Queensland in 2020 and 2022 in recognition of our innovative work in outdoor recreation and nature play. Our safety systems and operational procedures align with the Australian Adventure Activity Standards and reflect the Guiding Principles of the Australian Forest School Association.
